OBJECTIVES Overall objective The ToT aims to contribute to strengthening development of capacities to integrate gender equality principles in the work of public administration. In turn, this will contribute to the citizens’ wellbeing, economic development and growth in Egypt. Specific learning objectives • Develop knowledge and skills to support change agents in Public Administrations in Egypt to promote gender sensitive planning and processes. • Familiarise with the application of key concepts related to gender aspects in the formulation of programmes/training course at institutional level. • Acquire the capacity to develop diversified participatory learning strategies in designing and implementing capacity development activities on Gender Mainstreaming in Public Administrations in Egypt. CONTENT The main content of the Training of Trainers online activity are the following: • Key concepts and practical guidelines on Gender Mainstreaming in Public Administrations in Egypt based on no. 5 Tools elaborated in the TOOLKIT on Gender Mainstreaming. • Adult training methodologies and approaches and practical tools to design and facilitate effective awareness raising session on Gender mainstreaming making the most of the TOOLKIT.
