Training for Rural Economic Empowerment

This short course complements the “Rural Skills Training - A Generic Manual on Training for Rural Economic Empowerment (TREE)”, by providing you with a more hands-on experience of the TREE approach. The TREE programme is designed to build on existing job-creating programmes of the government and NGOs, make those programmes more effective, and fill in gaps where programmes are weak or do not exist. This self-guided module will bring value to the rural development work you do and will strengthen the relevance of any initiative you are undertaking. This e-learning course has been designed as self-paced training, including interactive training activities and assessment quizzes at the end of each section. The Fast Track will take you about 45 minutes. The Regular Track will take you about 90 minutes. If you have successfully passed the final quiz (70% of correct answers), you can obtain a Certificate of Completion detailing your name and title of the e-learning course.
