Business coaching for rural enterprises and farmers

OBJECTIVES With the objective to upscale the capacity of the local actors providing technical support to smallholder farmers and small entrepreneurs, by the end of this training, participants were able to: • Integrate business coaching techniques in their day-to-day work; • Effectively support smallholder farmers and small agri-businesses in their development and growth. CONTENT The training consisted of 7 practical zoom sessions, including: • An introductory session to prepare the ground for the training; • 2 sessions dedicated to key strategies for business coaching; • 2 hands-on sessions focussing on business planning; • 1 coaching-of-coaches session delivered in smaller groups (this practical session allowed participants to get ready for their first coaching session); • The closing webinar (1 month later) consisting in a peer review of the first coaching sessions.
