Training of Trainers on SOGIESC and Migration

The training of trainers was conducted through a blended modality over the span of eight weeks, combining traditional classroom instruction with online learning tools, and offering a flexible and effective learning environment. This approach enabled participants to study relevant materials in advance hence equipping them with foundational knowledge, optimising class time for deeper discussions and practical applications during the face-to-face phase at ITCILO in Turin, Italy. The blended modality enhanced engagement and comprehension, while allowing facilitators to address specific questions and challenges OBJECTIVES Strengthen capacity of IOM personnel to apply facilitation methodologies in delivery of IOM's institutional training package on SOGIESC and Migration. CONTENT Capacity building on SOGIESC and Migration and facilitation skills through a six week guided self-study course, in-person sessions on facilitation and key SOGIESC topics, and feedback sessions on facilitation of the SOGIESC and Migration training.
