Master Training in Management of Employers and Business Membership Organizations for Nigeria

Tomiloba Josephine Babarinde

  • Employers and Business Membership Organizations are central to mobilizing the voice of private sector enterprises as the principal source of economic growth, job creation and decent work, and are an indispensable component of democratic and inclusive governance.

  • EBMOs have an essential role in leading economic and social change and advocating for policies to promote an enabling environment for sustainable enterprises and shared prosperity.

  • Effective exercise of this role involves strengthening the independence and good governance of EBMOs; increasing alliances with like-minded partners, such as other representative business organizations; expanding their membership to enhance their representativity; enhancing their capacity to provide relevant services.

  • In short, managing an EBMO is a very complex business. EBMOs leaders face complex challenges in managing internal resources, balancing member interests, managing memberships, and maintaining a sound revenue base. As such, being part of the management of an EBMO requires mastering a set of competencies to handle complex situations and play demanding roles.

The Master Training on Management of EBMOs is the only postgraduate course on the market which provides a curriculum focused on acquiring the technical and strategic competences which are needed to drive forward EBMOs.
