Business development service providers often face serious challenges in the design, marketing and delivery of these services. This workshop provided hands-on training on how to develop effective business development services and deliver them in a sustainable manner. The course was aimed at managers and staff of organizations that provide business development services to micro and small enterprises, including those owned and managed by women.
OBJECTIVES
The aim of the workshop was to develop the capacity of business development service providers to design and deliver client-oriented business development services to male and female micro and small entrepreneurs and to develop and implement sustainable business models for BDS delivery.
More specifically, the course offered the opportunity to get answers to the following questions:
• What business development services do male and female entrepreneurs need?
• How to promote the delivery of financially viable services?
• What are good practices in training, coaching and marketing services?
