This e-learning course was designed to introduce participants to the operating principles and commonly used strategies and tools for integrating a gender perspective into budgetary processes.
OBJECTIVES
The course aimed to establish a common understanding of gender-responsive budgeting and provide practical guidance and tools to initiate and advance gender budgeting initiatives.
By combining theory and practice, the training ensured that participants gained valuable insights and practical knowledge to advance gender budgeting within their organizations.
CONTENT
The online training programme included:
Four online modules featuring interactive readings and supplementary resources, including links to documents, virtual learning tools, and recommended materials.
Four knowledge-sharing webinars addressing challenges, opportunities, and best practices in gender-responsive budgeting.
Weekly tasks and facilitated forum discussions, led by the course tutor.
A practical activity at the end of the course, designed to help participants identify entry points for implementing gender-responsive budgeting within their organizations.
Mutual learning: At the end of the course, participants presented a synthesis of their work in a dedicated webinar.
