The course has been envisaged into a two macro areas of interventions namely topics related to i) Public Procurement Management and Good Governance and ii) Training methodology and Techniques, where both areas feed and reinforce one another.
More specifically, macro area 1 focused in the Public procurement key reform elements including sustainable, green and electronic procurement as necessary tools for greening the economy, paving the way to macro area 2, that dealt with effective training design and the use of innovative training techniques both functional to foster the right attitude for change and effective contribution.
OBJECTIVES
1. Participants have been introduced to the latest approaches, internationally recognized good practices of a sound and effective public procurement system and an efficient reform’s implementation process.
2. Participants have been exposed to the recent developments related to public procurement globally from a policy and governance perspective.
3. It has been demonstrated how a structured and high-quality capacity building process could drive successfully the change and consequently reform’s results.
4. Participants have been exposed to the recent development and good practices in training engineering and training techniques that serve professionalization in public procurement, in light of the ITCILO experience (latest used methodologies, approaches, techniques and tools).
