C4D - Tailored communication course in Uganda

This two-day immersive workshop in Communication for Development (C4D) designed for communication officers from 9 countries in East Africa, coming from both FAO and ministries of agriculture, aims to enhance participants’ communication skills and empower them to create impactful development communication plans. Led by industry experts, this course covers essential C4D concepts, methods, and techniques to help communication officers effectively engage stakeholders, craft compelling stories, and present ideas with confidence. OBJECTIVES • Basic C4D concepts, • Designing C4D strategies, identification, segmentation, and analysis of key audiences, • Crafting key messages, selecting, and using C4D communication methods and channels, • Transform Research into Communication Products, • Storytelling techniques • Effective presentations and multimedia production; and application of C4D platforms. • Generate Engaging Content • Apply Storytelling and Video Communication Skills CONTENT C4D Concepts, C4D strategy development and planning, storytelling, video production and presentation.
