Unions Say ‘Yes’ to Revitalization: Resource Mobilization

OBJECTIVES Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants were able to : • Assess own organizations’ strength in investment in youth • Identify internal and external funding sources of the Youth Structure • Explore ways to secure resources to ensure that Youth Structure can function • Understand the basics of fundraising • Assist the YS in getting external financial resources • Build on good practices across Europe • Take steps towards consolidation of Youth Structure through stable funding CONTENT The workshop consisted of the following sessions: • Future of trade unions – 4 scenarios • Presentation of national events on intergenerational dialogue Bulgaria-Croatia-Montenegro-Poland-Romania-Slovenia • Resource mobilization for Youth Structures • Leadership perspective on revitalization of trade unions • Donour mapping and fundraising plan • Study visit to Mladi Plus The workshop consisted of 12 hours of training in 2 full days of face-to-face activity. ECAMPUS The activity was supported by the E-campus, the education platform of the International Training Centre of the ILO. The platform was used for the distribution of course information, training material, learning tasks, exchanges of good practices and experiences, feedback and multimedia content.
