This certification programme provides a practical approach to project design, planning, procurement and contract management as well as monitoring and evaluation, helping TMA professionals reach their long-term goals.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of the training programme, participants belonging to TMA and in particular those involved in the design, planning and execution of projects in the various country offices:
• Have acquired a broad understanding of project management functions on project, programme and organisational levels;
• Understand the steps involved in the project cycle from identification and definition to planning and budgeting, implementation, procurement and contract management as well as and monitoring and reporting and evaluation;
• Are able to use the tools and methodologies to implement the necessary steps for successful project design, implementation and evaluation autonomously or in a team.

ACHIEVEMENT
This certificate of achievement has been delivered to the participants that have produced the required deliverables by completing individual and group assignments during each phase of the programme.
I. Distance learning modules (10 hours)
• Completion of two online modules
• Acquisition of practical knowledge on the Project Cycle and identification of projects.
II. Knowledge tests and practical assignments (5 hours)
• Two knowledge tests.
• Draft of a project concept and information sources.
III. Residential training (60 hours)
• Participation in workshop.
• Group work to apply the skills, from project identification through to M&E.
