Despite global efforts, women still earn, on average, 20% less than men. This persistent gender pay gap underscores the urgent need for effective strategies to achieve pay equity. Advancing equal pay for work of equal value offers multiple benefits: it boosts economic growth by increasing aggregate demand, enhances investments in education and childcare, and, above all, is a matter of fairness.
