ILO Project Practitioners Exchange Forum 2025

OBJECTIVES

The ILO Project Practitioners Exchange Forum’s overall objective is to contribute to increased efficiency and effectiveness of the Development Cooperation work of the ILO in the African Region, and their contribution to the implementation of the Abidjan Declaration, in the context of Accelerating on the SDG’s as well as contributing to the delivery of excellent decent work results in Africa as One ILO.

• Fix Bottlenecks: Identify obstacles and streamline HR, Finance, Admin, and Procurement

• Apply Systems Thinking: Tackle challenges through a holistic approach

• Boost Collaboration: Encourage innovation and teamwork across units

• Host Innovation Share-Fair: Address delivery issues through shared learning

• Align with Regional Priorities: Ensure projects align with the Abidjan Declaration, P&B, UN Agenda, and reforms

• Apply Best Practices: Learn from offices that succeed with the “deliver as one” approach

• Understand Programmatic Framework: Deepen knowledge of ILO’s delivery framework in Africa and its Decent Work goals

• Manage & Share Knowledge: Enhance knowledge sharing and communication of DC project outcomes
