OBJECTIVES

  • To equip participants with a broad knowledge of the key issues relating to the social security extension work as detailed in the ISSA Guidelines on Administrative Solutions for Coverage Extension;

  • To develop a firm understanding of the main roles and responsibilities of social security professionals in the field of extending the coverage of social security;

  • To support participants’ reflection on the application of the ISSA Guidelines on Administrative Solutions for Coverage Extension in their own organizations;

  • To facilitate the formation of a network of practitioners with an understanding of the ISSA Guidelines on Administrative Solutions for Coverage Extension.

  • Module 1: Assessing and Contributing to the Enabling Environment

  • Module 2: Ensuring institutional readiness and establishing a communication strategy

  • Module 3: Developing an effective registration system

  • Module 4: Identifying proper solutions to collect contributions and improve compliance

  • Module 5: Delivering Services and Benefits in a timely, accurate and effective way

 

ACHIEVEMENT

The E-Learning Course on Administrative Solutions for Coverage Extension consisted of 60 hours of learning.

 

The assessment method consisted of: 

  • Self-assessment (20%);

  • Individual presentation (50%);

  • Interaction and sharing during lectures and group discussions (10%);

  • Post-training Assignment (20%).
