This two-week online training activity focused on two main themes: i. Key skills in analysing company financial data and ii. Key skills in analysing company non-financial data (sustainability reporting). It consisted of live webinars, a self-guided e-learning module, exercises, reading assignments and peer-to-peer forum discussions.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the course was to empower the participants to use corporate data as a tool for informed dialogue, engagement, and constructive influence in workplace decisions.
The course achieved the following:
Equipped participants with the ability to analyse financial statements.
Enabled participants to interpret sustainability reports and understand a company’s social, environmental, and governance impacts.
Developed skills to critically evaluate the alignment between financial and non-financial reporting.
Enhanced participants' capability to use corporate data in social dialogue, allowing evidence-based discussions and negotiations.
Provided practical experience through case studies, showing how financial and sustainability data can inform decision-making and support effective worker representation in company discussions.
