Trade Union actions to protect and to promote the inclusion of Workers in Vulnerable Employment Situations for Americas

Desiree Leslie-Ann Saunders

The course aimed to promote inclusion in trade union organisations. The course provided trade unions with the tools to strengthen the voice and visibility of the most vulnerable workers and to make trade unions more democratic, participatory, inclusive and responsive to all workers. The course has particularly focused on indigenous peoples, rural workers, migrant workers, LGBTIQ+ workers and workers with disabilities.

  • Tackling new affiliates, especially young workers.
