During the “Market-based livelihoods interventions for refugees and host communities” training programme, the participant has been equipped with tools and guidance to facilitate the economic inclusion of refugees. OBJECTIVES Acquire a complete understanding of: • The market systems framework and its relevance for refugees • Sector selection criteria for the economic inclusion of refugees • Market systems analysis, including value chain mapping and constraint analysis • Push and pull interventions • Market systems facilitation • Sustainable business models for market-based livelihoods • Results chains CONTENT The training is composed of 10 webinars, 3 self-guided learning modules, 2 case studies, and 5 exercises . Participants learned to: Analyse refugee livelihoods through the market-systems framework Identify demand-driven livelihoods opportunities for refugees Understand market failures and constraint that prevent refugees from maximising their livelihoods opportunities Articulate a vision for market-based livelihoods interventions Facilitate displacement inclusive business models in cooperation with the private sector Develop results chains and indicators to monitor the impact of market-based livelihoods interventions.
