ILO Executive Leadership and Strategic Management Programme

19 - 29 April 2021 This programme aims to support ILO Leaders in responding to the new opportunities, challenges and realities by expanding their leadership potential and aligning and refining specific leadership skills. OBJECTIVES The programme: • Focuses on strategic leadership in the context of the ILO’s mandate and its unique tripartite structure. • Participants have explored the transformational and inclusive leadership styles necessary to build resilience and to guide diverse teams to deliver effectively in times of uncertainty. • Participants have learnt how to foster innovation and drive change, whilst activating a strong sense of purpose at both the team and individual levels. CONTENT The programme includes 5 Strategic building blocks: • Inclusive leadership: from diversity into inclusion and towards belonging • Transformational Leadership: Sensing and presencing lead to remarkable results • Leading Innovation: doing things differently, doing different things • Leading Change: re-thinking, re-framing and redefining your practice • Leading with Purpose: linking values to purpose, driving fundamental impact
