E-Learning Lab on Digital TVET

The e-Learning Lab on Digital TVET is part of the Skills Academy for Lebanon, comprising a series of training activities that are the result of extensive consultation and coordination work with the Country office of the ILO in Lebanon. The course targets TVET specialists, managers and teachers of TVET centres in order to develop their capacities for transforming available materials to suit on-line delivery and also operate distance-learning programmes with a strong focus on multimedia, digital and inter-active learning solutions. The course covers the most essential elements, quick tips and hands-on practice allowing participants to rapidly shifting face-to-face content of a module into an online offer. OBJECTIVES The aim of the eLearning Lab is to rapidly build the capacities of TVET professionals to improve the quality and outreach of e-Learning TVET and the delivery of TVET through digital learning, adopting successful approaches and tools to foster different forms of engagement and learning by the TVET users. CONTENT • Module 1: The e-Learning and Multimedia Landscape • Module 2: The Platform - Learning Management System • Module 3: Learning Technologies – suitable online tools for multimedia production • Module 4: e-Facilitation/tutoring and e-pedagogy OUTPUT Number of hours: 30 hours Participants were required to complete various exercises and 4 assignments (one per module). After successfully completing the pre-defined modules, participants were required to submit a capstone project as final assignment, with the aim to demonstrate the consolidated learning gained through the activities.
