Diploma for Social Protection Managers

OBJECTIVES On achieving the Diploma for Social Protection Managers, participants have: • Gained cutting edge qualitative and quantitative skills in core areas of social protection management; • Applied relevant tools, techniques and methods for policy analysis, governance, administration and management of social protection programmes and systems; and • Demonstrated enhanced technical and analytical competences in the assessment and administration of social protection programmes and systems. CONTENT Participants have completed four of the qualified courses within a 5-year period and a Capstone Project in order to earn the Diploma for Social Protection Managers. ACHIEVEMENT Number of learning hours: 320 The Capstone Project submitted demonstrates the consolidated learning of the courses combined. It consisted of a written assignment which used technical and analytical approaches from the four completed courses to develop policy recommendations for a specific country context.
