ENDING VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT IN THE WORLD OF WORK

This virtual learning experience consists of a step-by-step and in-depth analysis of the contents of ILO Convention No. 190 and Recommendation No. 206, as a way to expand the understanding – and acquire ownership – of the core concepts, principles and approaches when preventing and addressing Violence and Harassment in the World of Work, as well as to explore strategies to apply them in practice. OBJECTIVES At the end of the training participants are able to: • Understand the problem of violence and harassment in the world of work, through a gender lens • Review the international human rights framework around the issue in light of recently adopted ILO Convention no. 190 and Recommendation no. 206 • Locate themselves in the roadmap for change laid out by these new instruments and identify entry points towards application of their principles in their own context • Strategize and formulate effective arguments to raise awareness and initiative change CONTENT In this learning journey you took through a step-by-step analysis of the violence and harassment phenomenon in the world of work, through the lens of ILO Convention no. 190 and Recommendation no. 206.
