This course was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Active Labour Market Policies and good practices within ALMPs schemes.

OBJECTIVES

• Identify the key design features of active labour market programmes (ALMPs) namely, training, job subsidies, self-employment schemes and public works.

• Become familiar with different country experiences in the design and implementation of ALMPs.
