New ENGAGE-TB Training Workshop

12 November - 15 December 2020 WHO’s ENGAGE-TB is an innovative approach. This training offers a unique learning experience to better identify and treat people with TB. ENGAGE-TB aims to strengthen integrated TB services at the community level, improve the reach and sustainability of TB interventions, and shift the global perspective of TB from only a medical illness to a broader socioeconomic, community issue. OBJECTIVES - Introduce and unpack the ENGAGE-TB approach. - Improve stakeholder engagement in the implementation and delivery of integrated community-based TB prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care. CONTENT • Adapting the ENGAGE-TB approach to different settings • Engaging stakeholders through interactive exercises for community-based TB service delivery • Applying soft skills for effective communication and negotiation • Communicating virtually and tailoring community action to the COVID-19 context
