Financed by the European Union
Romuald Fontaine
Unions Say ‘Yes’ to Revitalization is an EU-funded Action designed by the ITC‐ILO ACTRAV and the ETUC Youth Committee aimed at building union power through intergenerational partnership. The Action is built around ETUC’s forward‐looking strategy to boost trade union renewal and revitalization in Europe with young workers as the key drivers of change. The Action recognizes the challenges young people are facing in the world of work and the crucial role they can play in trade union revitalization. By boosting the youth participation in union democracy and action, the Action aimed to set in motion a more transformative change in union strategies and practices and bridging the gap between trade unions and the youth. The Action has been designed for pilot trade union organizations who took an active part in the project activities with high level of commitment and goal-oriented approach: CL Podkrepa, UATUC, FCE-CFDT, CISL, CTUM, OPZZ, UGT-Spain, CNSLR Fratia, Mladi Plus and UGT-P.
