This course aimed to build capacity to a selected group of participants from The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region corresponding to policy makers and practitioners engaged in reform transformation. The course underlines the approaches for reforms, explained how to build peace through employment creation and how to attain the Social Development Goals in making procurement function an excellent tool to link between key stakeholders, policy makers and diligent procuring officers.
OBJECTIVES
Highlighting the selected key sectors in MENA, such as, manufacturing, renewable energies and tourism, the privileged geographical location paired with a young population, this course I’d designed to create an enabling building business skills for advancement of the most challenging issues in public procurement: sustainable procurement, digital transformation, life cycle analyses and modern procurement methods (framework agreements, dynamic purchasing, multistage methods etc) as well as creating proper environment through stockholders’ identification and engagement and effective communication.
