XR Focus for Skills Development

The XR Focus on Skills Development course is aimed at TVET specialists, managers and teachers of TVET centers in order to develop their skills for creating a lesson using Augmented Reality (AR). Throughout the 4 weeks, the participants had the opportunity to select, design and implement an Augmented Reality lesson, including the structure of the lesson from a pedagogical perspective. OBJECTIVES The overall objective of this training is to strengthen the capacities of TVET professionals to improve the quality and dissemination of Augmented Reality in the field of skills development and vocational training, as well as to adopt effective approaches and tools to promote different forms of involvement and learning by users of vocational training. CONTENT • Week 1: Learn how to use the EON Reality Education platform for the design of your AR lessons and discover AR methodologies of teaching • Week 2: Design your Augmented Reality lesson • Week 3: Feedback sessions on your lesson • Week 4: Improvement and finalization of your AR lesson. ACHIEVEMENT Participant learned about the opportunities and benefits of using immersive technologies for training by using an online AR authoring tool to create their own specific AR lessons. Furthermore, created and designed a Lesson Plan for implementing AR in their classrooms.
