Sustainable entrepreneurship training programme

The ITCILO offered an online training programme on sustainable entrepreneurship in the green and blue economy to young entrepreneurs operating in different countries and sectors in Africa. OBJECTIVES At the end of the course, participants strengthened their knowledge of sustainable entrepreneurship and they learnt how to build an environmentally and socially responsible business. Participants had access to key tools. They exchanged with other entrepreneurs and discover the different steps towards sustainability CONTENT The following topics were addressed: • Sustainable business and the Triple Bottom Line • Sustainable business and decent work • Resource efficiency and cleaner production • Product and service lifecycle management and circularity strategies • Next steps for developing sustainable enterprises
