OBJECTIVES This training aimed to reinforce the role of workers' organizations in taking advantage of the inclusion of safe and healthy working environment in the ILO's framework of fundamental principles and rights at work, and the implications arising out of this for trade unions' agendas, focusing on violence and harassment as an Important OSH issue. (Match with «Rights and Equality» ITUC priority). Outcomes: • Implications of including a safe and healthy working environment in the ILO's framework of fundamental principles and rights at work. • Linkages between implementing comprehensive OSH policies and addressing violence and harassment in the world of work. • Underlining the importance and new approaches of social dialogue and collective agreements for implementing safe and healthy working environments, based on comprehensive OSH policies that are also free from violence and harassment.
