SURE CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME BOTSWANA

This certificate is proof of the successful completion of the Sustainable and Resilient Enterprises (SURE) training of trainers programme, and authorizes its holder to deliver SURE training to entrepreneurs. The Sustainable and Resilient Enterprises (SURE) training programme seeks to strengthen the capacities of SMEs to prepare, respond, and adapt to the impact of hazards such as disasters, conflict, pandemics and others. SMEs that participate in the SURE training programme will develop resilience strategies that are tailor-made to their unique business profile and risk exposure. With its focus on business resilience, the SURE methodology goes a step beyond classical business continuity planning and introduces aspects of business adaptation, digital transformation and staff development to help SMEs become agile, shore up vulnerabilities and build the necessary human elements that are key to business resilience. OBJECTIVES The SURE Certification Programme is a trajectory for trainers that want to become qualified trainers in the ILO/GIZ SURE methodology, so as to be able to incorporate business resilience training and coaching into their service offer. The first phase of the SURE Certification Programme is a Training of Trainers that familiarizes the participants with the full set of SURE training materials and methodology. The second phase of the SURE Certification Programme is the successful delivery of the SURE training and coaching to entrepreneurs. The Certification Programme is completed with a final assessment. CONTENT The participants completed the full SURE certification programme as follows: Phase 1: Training of Trainers from 24 TO 27 January 2023 and completion of a business resilience strategy Phase 2: Training of entrepreneurs from 27 January TO 31 May 2023 Phase 3: Final assessment and certification NUMBER OF HOURS: 80
