While it is commonly admitted that conflict is inevitable, the difference is made by how conflict is handled. Indeed, the interactions between employees and employers within enterprises can be cooperative and harmonious, or characterized by conflict and disruption. Even where relations are generally good, the very nature of employment relations suggests that some conflict is inevitable. Thus, effectively managing labour disputes in the workplace must start well before any signs of conflict. This course offered a comprehensive overview of effectively managing labour disputes in the workplace, emphasizing proactive strategies, and understanding practical techniques for resolution. Participants acquired the skills necessary to prevent, mediate, and resolve conflicts in a manner that fosters a productive work environment.
