Training of Trainers on Social Protection

This blended course comprised of three weeks of technical training online followed by three days of face to face pedagogical training in Beirut. The course aimed to deepen the technical knowledge and the training and communication skills of selected local and regional experts in social protection with a view to establishing a roster of local trainers to deliver future training activities in social protection in Lebanon and the wider region.

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop a shared understanding and technical knowledge of core principles and key components of contributory and non-contributory social protection policies, design, delivery, and administration.

  • Strengthen the understanding of key principles of adult learning, and learn about a range of instructional activities and training techniques to help you design interactive and participant-centred learning sessions.
