PROMOTING ILS AND THEIR APPLICATION THROUGH NORMATIVE STOCKATING REPORT

This workshop aims at building capacities so that the development of Normative Stock-taking Reports (NSRs) takes place as close as possible to the country-level and to generalise the production of quality NSRs delivered in a timely manner and that meets the ILO’s constituents’ needs. OBJECTIVES For ILO staff to gain: • a solid knowledge-base on international labour standards (ILS) as an essential element of the 2030 and Decent Work Agendas; • understanding of how to work with ILS in order to buttress programming and development cooperation work and its normative foundations; • capacity to engage with United Nations Country Teams (UNCTs) during the elaboration of Common Country Analysis (CCAs) and United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCFs); • capability to assist ILO constituents in engaging with UNCTs and social dialogue processes based on solid normative foundations.
