EPISODE Training of Trainers - UNIMED

The goal of the ToT initiative was to equip teachers, trainers and mentors with innovative tools, teaching techniques that fit in both face-to-face and online settings and a glimpse into cutting edge technologies. This strategic alignment aims to cultivate engaging, dynamic learning environments that foster active participation and knowledge retention among final beneficiaries. Through a tailored curriculum that emphasizes practical application and interactive learning tools, the ToT provided ideas and insights on how to design and deliver more effective and impactful training within the realm of Digital Social Entrepreneurship. OBJECTIVES - Activate learners through multisensory learning environments - Define action-oriented objectives that support active learning processes - Learn the meaning of participatory facilitation and the techniques available - Explore the technologies available to enhance the design and development of learning activities - Know the difference between assessment and evaluation and the evaluation levels - Create a session plan to design and deliver an active learning session CONTENT The 3-day face-to-face workshop focused on experiencing an active learning approach in the classroom by witnessing methods and tools in action and working collaboratively with peers on session planning. Moreover, the workshop provided room for experimenting with learning innovation as participants accessed to ITCILO Learning Innovation Lab, a space equipped for hybrid and technology-enhanced learning sessions, including Virtual reality.
