SUSTAINABLE AND RESILIENT ENTERPRISES (SURE) – TRAINING OF TRAINERS

The “Sustainable and Resilient Enterprises” (SURE) training program aims to strengthen the capacities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to prepare for, react to and adapt to the impact of hazards such as disasters, conflicts , pandemics and others. SMEs that participate in the SURE training program have the ability to develop resilience strategies tailored to their unique situation and risk exposure. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the SURE Training of Trainers were: 1) Participants are able to provide training to entrepreneurs on SURE tools. 2) Participants are able to offer group or individual coaching sessions to entrepreneurs and/or management teams using SURE tools. 3) Participants are able to adapt and contextualize SURE training material to the needs of their target companies and the local risk context CONTENT The SURE program is made up of training workshops (face-to-face or online), self-guided learning modules and individual or group coaching sessions. During the training program, small businesses develop their resilience strategies in the face of different risks, adapted to their particular contexts. ACHIEVEMENT Upon completion of the trainer development program, participants are able to provide SMEs with training and coaching sessions on business resilience approaches, including: - Crisis management and staff engagement tools, - Identification of hazards and risk assessment, - Impact scenarios and risk management tools, - Risk sharing approaches
