Training of Trainers in Public Procurement – Kathmandu, Nepal

The training of trainers (TOT) is a capacity-development event that serves as a meeting place for capacity-development trainers, facilitators, coaches, and instructors. The uniqueness of this TOT is that it gathers trainers who are active in the field of public procurement in Nepal in one event, one community. OBJECTIVES The overarching goal is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge on the latest methodologies and approaches to learning innovation. Participants will also get familiar with learning theories and methodologies through practicing as part of the TOT for the different phases of the learning management cycle: learning design, implementation, and presentation/facilitation and evaluation. CONTENT The TOT took place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 4 to 11 July 2022, as part of the Capacity Development Project in Public Procurement (CDP-Nepal) implemented through a partnership between the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation (ITCILO) and the Public Procurement Monitoring Office of Nepal (PPMO).
