CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION 1: INTRODUCTION TO INTERNATIONAL LABOUR STANDARDS

Self-guided course part of the series of courses for “Continuing Legal Education on International Labour Standards (CLE on ILS)”. It provides entry-level guidance on the comprehensive system of international labour standards (ILS) established and developed by the International Labour Organization since 1919. CONTENT • ILS in a nutshell: what ILS are, the reasons for their development, their characteristics, relevance and how they are used; • ILS in action: how ILS are adopted, promoted and supervised; • ILS content: the subjects ILS cover and their content in the form of short summaries.
