OBJECTIVES
• Define and measure forced labour in line with international conventions, national legislations and international measurement standards;
• Critically assess forced labour in a given context (national, regional or sectoral);
• Critically assess the determinants of forced labour in a given context (national, regional or sectoral) and understand their policy implications.
CONTENT
The training curriculum enables National Statistical Offices and researchers to design and implement research on forced labour.
The contents pursues a balance between providing the theoretical background to equip the users with a good understanding of quantitative research methods and their relevance to forced labour, focusing on how to apply it in a real research scenario.
