Reporting on the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No.190)

The course provided knowledge and skills for drafting reports on the measures taken to give effect, in law and in practice, to the provisions of Convention No. 190.

OBJECTIVES

• Understand the role and operation of reporting on ratified Conventions.

• Understand the scope of application and content of Convention No. 190.

• Know how to use the NORMLEX database for reporting on the application of Convention No. 190.

• Prepare or participate in the preparation of the reports on the application of Convention No. 190.

• Background information about reporting on the application of ratified ILO Conventions.

• Convention No. 190: innovative approach, scope of application and definitions; core principles; prevention and protection; enforcement and remedies; guidance, training and awareness raising; domestic violence.

• The report form approved by the Governing Body of the ILO for reporting on the application of Convention No. 190.

• The application of Convention No. 190: comments by the ILO supervisory bodies.

• NORMLEX database and other resources.
