Introduction to International Labour Standards

Self-guided course providing a brief presentation of the comprehensive system of international labour standards (ILS) established and developed by the International Labour Organization since 1919 and aimed at promoting opportunities for women and men to obtain decent and productive work, in conditions of freedom, equity, security and dignity. Learning hours: 2 OBJECTIVES Provide a basic understanding of ILS as important instruments that respond to the changing patterns of the world of work, for the protection of workers and taking into account the needs of sustainable enterprises.
