The purpose of this E-learning course is to enhance the understanding of participants regarding the sustained eradication of child labour.
OBJECTIVES
As a result of this course participants will:
Better understand the linkages between labour rights and human rights, for inputting the UN action at the national level.
Develop a nuanced understanding of the ILO’s supervisory mechanisms aimed at promoting and safeguarding human rights in the world of work.
Advocate for the implementation of ILS, with a particular emphasis on the ILO Fundamental Conventions, at the national level, ensuring the protection of workers’ rights and fostering fair labour practices.
Foster greater cooperation with the UN system.
