Diploma for Development Cooperation Specialist

OBJECTIVES By achieving the Diploma for Development Cooperation Specialist, successful candidates have demonstrated that they: • Have gained a complete body of knowledge on programme and project cycle management • Have learned, practiced and demonstrated their capacities to use the tools and techniques to perform the design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and financial management of development cooperation interventions CONTENT Participants completed three of the qualified programmes within a 5-year period and a capstone project in order to earn the Diploma for Development Cooperation Specialist. ACHIEVEMENT Number of learning hours: 320 The Capstone project submitted by participants demonstrates the consolidated learning of the programmes combined. The topic proposed by the participant and approved by the ITCILO experts, is inherent in the programmes that compose the diploma. Through the capstone project, participants have implemented their knowledge and skills in an applied practical piece of work. They have demonstrated to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to for design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, or financial management of development cooperation interventions autonomously for a project of their choice.
