Diploma in Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development
The Diploma in Public Procurement Management is a new initiative undertaken by the ITCILO to contribute to the reinforcing and upgrading capacity in the management of the procurement functions and operations at the institutional and operational levels. This diploma programme is therefore intended to be practical, useful and applied to the realities of professionals active in the field of procurement.
OBJECTIVES
Its central objective is to support the development and the validation of individual and organizational capacities in public procurement management. More specifically, in the procurement of goods, works, physical services and consulting services, advanced contract management and sustainable procurement.
On achieving the Diploma in Public Procurement Management, the participant has/is:
• Gained a complete body of knowledge on public procurement management
• Learned practiced and demonstrated the use of tools and techniques to perform all the functions for public procurement and contract management
• Is able to demonstrate the achievement through a recognised certification from the ITCILO
• Is part of a growing network of international procurement specialists to serve as an ongoing platform for exchange.
